I am a proud gleek. I watch this teenage show with unabated breath and I am happy that I do. It is much more than show tunes and teenage romance; this series is about courage, doing the right thing, notion of self-worth, uniqueness and personal greatness. Yet, apart from being an entertaining resource, this show has a strong moralistic component intended to instill the virtues of loving relationships, friendship, honesty, family and responsibility. Glee has also been praised on numerous occasions for prominent featuring of LGBT issues - coming out in particular.
